TIME MANAGEMENT Do you feel like there isn’t enough time in the day to complete your school assignments? Are you tired of feeling rushed and Stressed out?

Time is a valuable commodity! Take control of your time and yourself. Time is valuable not only in “the business world” but everywhere.

What Is Time Management? Time management is an executive function. This does not mean it's something only used by white-collar businessmen or executives; an executive function is a skill that utilizes multiple cognitive functions.

The first step to improving your time management ability is to keep a time journal. Why it is important to keep a time journal for college students ?

EFFECTIVE TIME MANGEMENT Buy a calendar with large squares for writing extensive notes about your daily obligations, including your job and class schedules. Read class syllabi thoroughly at the start of the term and write down or highlight when all assignments are due. Determine which courses require a large amount of reading.

EFFECTIVE TIME MANGEMENT Make a list of any research projects or problem-solving assignments you'll be doing and map out a study schedule on your calendar. Write down all extracurricular activities you will be attending. Take into account long weekends and vacations and mark them on your calendar. EFFECTIVE TIME MANGEMENT Allot time for exercise during the week, as a way to relieve stress. Make sure you keep on schedule, except for those unforeseen schedule changes. In the end try to achieve a balance. Being a dedicated student is important, but don't forget to have fun. Every once in a while, you can blow off studying for a spontaneous night on the town.

Why Is Goal-Setting Important? You have set a high standard for yourself to achieving goals and we realized that that getting what you want doesn't always come easy. Thus, in order to achieve or reach your goals, more often than not, you've got to work hard to get the results you desire. This requires commitment, dedication, perseverance, and the know-how to manage your time to the best of your ability.
