Greenhouse Adel Issa

Introduction Greenhouses are places were different plans grow, the green house has glass doors and roofs because plants need sunlight to grow, so the whole idea of greenhouses are to grow plants and vegetables in a better way.

Where The Greenhouse Should Be Located The greenhouse should be located where it gets allot of sunlight. The first choice of location is the south or southeast side of a building or shade trees. Sunlight all day is best. Morning sunlight is most desirable because it allows the plant's food production process to begin early. An east side location captures the most November to February sunlight. The next best sites are southwest and west of major structures, where plants receive sunlight later in the day. North of major structures is the least desirable location and is good only for plants that require little light.

The Problem The problem is that many crops are being destroyed from natural disasters, and from animals walking around the plants, and destroying them, there are also allot of insects who destroy plants, and all of these problems should be fixed.

Biography Of Inventor Charles Lucien Bonaparte, a French botanist, is normally credited as the inventor of the modern practical greenhouse. He was the eldest son of Lucien Bonaparte, and in 1822 married a daughter of Joseph Bonaparte, king of Spain. Soon afterward he settled with his father in Philadelphia, and during his residence in the United States studied the ornithology of the country.

Story Of The Invention Before the invention of greenhouses, it was really hard for people to grow plants because many animals destroyed the plants and the weather also destroyed the plants. After the greenhouse was invented, people could control the weather of the greenhouse, it was a closed place, so no animals can go in.

How The Invention Works Greenhouses work by using the way heat and light pass through glass or plastic to your plants, However, the heat cannot escape from it, so heat builds up inside, keeping the greenhouse far warmer than the outside air.

The Solution That is why people invented greenhouses, so they can solve all of these problems, it is indoor, so no animal or insect can harm it, and it is closed, so there are no rain or thunder that could harm the plants, and that means nobody walks and harms the plants.

What Humans Did Before The Greenhouses They just planted the plants outdoor, but it was very hard for them.

How The Invention Improved Human Life It improved human life because it made it simple to grow plants, so no plants can be destroyed, and that there was no weather problems.

Changes To The Invention Through Time First, greenhouses was just a place to put plants indoor, after a while, greenhouses became bigger and more complicated, and then people added weather control to the greenhouses, so they can stay warm, even at the winter, and made sure no pests can enter the greenhouse.

How Has Greenhouses Created New Problems For Us There are no problem that greenhouse does, because everything about the greenhouse is good.

History Of Greenhouses The history of greenhouses dates back to the Roman times when a Roman Emperor, Tiberius ate a cucumber vegetable daily called an Armenian cucumber, to make sure that they had this fruit available for the Emperor daily, the Roman gardener’s used methods (like greenhouse methods) enabling them to grow every day of the year.
