5 4) Balmy – Soothing; mild Hawaii has a lot of balmy weather.

6 5) Congregate – to come together in a group The students tend to congregate at the lower courts.

7 6) Divert – to turn aside He tried to divert my attention by dropping a book on the floor.

8 7) Humdrum – lacking excitement; boring It was a humdrum day.

9 8) Influx – a flowing or pouring in There was an influx of students at our school.

10 9) Intricate – complicated; very detailed The design on the dress was intricate.
