13 Greater than AIDS Public Health Information Campaign Partnership and Materials Walgreens partners with the Greater Than AIDS public health information campaign to distribute informational resources, operationalize HIV testing events and target community outreach. Greater Than AIDS aims to increase the public’s knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS and confront the stigma surrounding the disease.

16 HIV in 2012 16 After 30 years of HIV and 15 years of highly active anti-retroviral therapy, the HIV treatment and prevention landscape is changing Truvada now approved to PREVENT HIV (pre-exposure prophylaxis). HIV home test kits have been approved and will be available in our stores late September 2012. New “Quad drug” (one pill once-a-day regimen) expected to launch later this summer and a new BOOSTER agent similar to Norvir. Generics for HIV drugs are slowly becoming available.
