The scale is correct and included in the map key, labels show how many restaurants are in each state (not how many squares are colored in each state). 1 sq= 2 Taco bell restaurants Virginia 4 Some of you will be able to do a scale that is simple and requires no math. For example, 1 sq= 1 restaurant. If you have numbers that are high (for example 250!) you cannot do a simple scale. You need to divide it so that your states or countries are not so huge. Try to keep shapes to 150 squares or less.
