General Expectations It is a privilege (not a right) to be part of this team Use common sense Expectations – Daily attendance is expected – (after 5 unexcused absences athlete will not be eligible for Conference or Grade Level Championships) – Try to schedule Family Vacations before 8/17 in 2015 – Bad weather is not a reason to cancel practice – Varsity are at practice over MEA break (all welcome) – Expectations are not the same for every athlete Respect – Coaches, teammates, facilities, equipment, opponents, and officials Academics are most important, but learning to balance and time manage are important lessons
