2. Main Objective The objective of this course is to design and construct a well-structured and secure database. And also to create a relational database schema based on a conceptual model and any other data storage requirements otherwise identified

3. Learning Outcome At the end of the course the student will be able to: Ability to design and construct a well- structured and secure database Ability to create a relational database schema based on a conceptual model and any other data storage requirements otherwise identified Ability to document database structures including tables, fields, and indexes according to standards

4. Assessment Assessment of this cause will involve: Assignment and lab works which will weigh 10 marks Two tests: Test 1 will weigh 15 marks Test 2 will weigh 15 marks A total of 40 Marks will be given for Course Work assessment. Final exam will carry 60 marks.
