Record of ALL your procedure & results - keep track of what you are doing (the specific conditions for each experiment, problems faced) - possible for any other member to repeat any part of experiment - easy for mentor to monitor your progress - help you to reflect on your research journey and prepare for your reflection booklet

8 22/3/10 (Monday) Purpose: Preparation of reagents 1)0.10 mol/dm 3 NaOH solution -Weigh 1.00 g of NaOH pellets into a beaker. - Add about 50 ml of DI water to dissolve. - Transfer solution into a 250 ml volumetric flask using a filter funnel and glass rod. - Made up to the mark with DI water. - Shake flask to obtain a homogeneous solution.
