2. Día 01 / Cusco – City Tour Reception in the airport and transfer to the chosen hotel. Lodging we’ll start with the city tour. Visiting, cathedral of Cusco, Koricancha Temple, and its principal street “Sacsayhuaman” archeological monument, “kenko”, “Puca Pucara” and “Tambomachay” Sacsayhuaman. It might well have been a religious structure, but for its location and style, the Spanish and the historians believe it was a military construction. The most important temple in Hanan Qosqo or Upper Cusco might have been located there, dedicated to Andean cosmology and to the worship of the Inti (sun), the Quilla (moon), Chaska (stars), Illapa (ray), and other divinities. It is described as massive for the size of some of its stones, which weigh between 90 and 120 tons. This is also the stage of the Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun every 24th June.

6. Day 02 / Machu Picchu Breakfast. Transfer to the train station of Cusco for a trip of three hours towards the fortress of Machu Picchu, one of the most famous Examples of the architecture Inca, known like “the lost city of the Incas”. We’ll arrive in the train station of “aguas calientes”. From here will take a bus, that will take us in a journey of 30minutes by a zigzag road towards the fortress of Machu Picchu Tour in Machu Picchu. Lunch Return to cusco lodging
