3. What is a Finback Whale? A Finback Whale is has a lot of different names for many different reasons. Finback Whales are the second largest whale on earth and the Blue Whale is just above it. They are friendly mammals. They hate shallow water.

4. What do Finback Whales eat? One thing that Finback Whales it is shrimp (krill). They also eat euphausiids. Finback Whales eat schooling fish to. Finback Whales usually don’t eat anything else besides their usual.

5. Who eats Finback Whales? The only animal that will try to eat a Finback Whale is a Killer Whale which is in the dolphin family. They try hard to avoid bigger animals that seem dangerous. Finback Whales have a lot of protection so not many animals try to go near it. Finback Whales don’t have any natural predators.

6. What is a Finback Whales habitat or home. A Finback Whale lives in very deep water. Finback Whales are found in all oceans! A few groups of Finback Whales are found in the Southern Hemisphere. Others are found in the Northern Hemisphere. Finback Whales prefer cold water. They are usually found outside the Continental Slope.

7. How are Finback Whales adapted to their environment? Finback Whales are adapted to their environment because of their strong bodies and how big they are. They have many tricks to catch food. They can easily catch small creatures because of their huge bodies. Finback Whales are dangerous to many small creatures but the small creatures can’t survive the forces of a Finback Whale.

8. Interesting Facts!!! Finback Whales have many different names. One is a Razorback. A couple others are a Fin-whale and a Finner. One way that Finback Whales catch schooling fish is to swim around in a circle around a bunch of them and make waves and so they will try to jump out but then the Whales will jump up and catch the fish.
