Cowardice Don’t be ashamed of the Gospel! (Rom. 1:16) Remember how Jesus will deal with cowardice (Mark 8:38) Cowards don’t enter Heaven (Rev. 21:8)

Worldliness Ashamed of Christ, Peter mingles with the world, enjoys their comforts (Mark 14:54) Once we become “friends with the world”, we’re one step away from denying God (1 Cor. 15:33) Notice Peter’s advice for worldliness - “Abstain!” (1 Pet. 2:11-12) Remember you’re a “sojourner and pilgrim”!

Denial We are called to worship. We are called to serve God. We are called to suffer for His name. Will we make excuses? Do we render little or no service? Do we stand far off in the safety of worldly comforts?
