travel The general act of moving from one place to another. Travel is used more often as a verb e.g. I was travelling through Russia or as an uncountable noun e.g. Air travel is cheap these days Travelling is a common noun form e.g. Do you enjoy travelling?

The time and distance moving from A to B, often regularly e.g. The journey back from Prague was terrible. I have an easy journey to work.
