7 S’COOL A bachelor’s degree is the minimum level of education that most firms accept on applications. You could be the frat in the hat while getting your bachelor's. Interning is also of vital importance to anyone wishing to secure a position in a firm.

8 DOLLA DOLLA BILLS, Y’ALL The average architect will make just above $60,000 through their first year of work outside of college. An architect with five or more years of practice under their belt can make in upwards of $110,000.

9 BE A GOOD LISTENER Architects must be good at communicating with their clients in order to realize the client’s vision of a given project. For this reason, having good people-skills would make one more attractive to employers. But not nearly as attractive as this man

10 DRAWING IS WAY FUN Because drafting project plans is an important part of being an architect, it might be beneficial for those seeking a career in the field to have a penchant for art and the skill of drawing.
