2 Biography  Born Oct. 6, 1887  Charles-Edouard Jeanneret- Gris  In 1917 invented “purism” with Amedee Ozenfant  In 1920, adpoted the pseudonym, Le Corbusier  Five points of architecture and the “house is a machine for living in”  Later in his career moved into city planning  Died Aug 27, 1965
