1 Chapter 4: Congruent Triangles Lesson 4-4: Using Congruent Triangles: CPCTC
Goal: Use triangle congruence and CPCTC to prove that parts of two congruent triangles are congruent.

2 Congruent Polygons: Congruent figures have the same size and shape.
Congruent polygons have congruent corresponding parts – their matching sides and angles. When we name congruent polygons, we always list the corresponding vertices in the same order.

3 CPCTC: CPCTC: With SSS, SAS, ASA, and AAS, we know how to use three parts of triangles to show that the triangles are congruent. Once we have triangles congruent, we can make conclusions about their other parts, because corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent.

4 Assignments and Note: CW: Practice 4-4.
HW 4-4: #3-18 (every 3rd), 22, and 26 for diagonal RM only. Quiz tomorrow.
