14 A Few More Apps: I found out about a few more apps since the presentation. You may want to check out: AppWriter ($19.99) - Just released and was designed for students with print disabilities. I am not yet sure if it works with VoiceOver. I will be experimenting with it soon. SAS Flash Cards (Free) – The decks submitted by other users work with VoiceOver unless they have pictures in them. Readability (Free) – Similar to Instapaper however you need to cut and past the weblink into Readability from Safari. There is however a desktop add-in to send webpages directly to the app from your Mac or PC. Notability (99¢) – Someone suggested this app at the conference. It is pretty cool, but not all the functions appear to work with VoiceOver and it is only for the iPad. A similar app that has been getting good reviews is Penultimate (99¢). Both are recommended for low vision users only.
