The cost of the trip covers transportation, all meals and a daily snack, cancellation insurance and taxes.

What should be packed? Closer to the trip date, information will be sent home regarding what to pack and time of arrival at school on June 13 th. All participants will require a sleeping bag or sheets and a blanket, toiletries and clothing suitable for outdoor activities (rain wear).

Dress Code Students are required to meet the dress code expectations of the school Neither skirts nor dresses should be worn as this will limit participation in the activities Students must bring running shoes Hats will be allowed to protect from the sun

Behaviour The excursion is an extension of the regular school program. Accordingly, expectations regarding student behaviour are the same as those for the regular school day. While we do not anticipate any problems, any serious breach of expected conduct on the part of a student may result in that student being sent home at the expense of the parent and further discipline may be imposed.

Medication Any prescribed medication must be accompanied by a medication form All medicine MUST be given to a teacher prior to the trip except for inhalers and epi-pens Over the counter medicine is discouraged. However, if it is necessary for your child to bring such medicine, it must also be given to a teacher prior to the trip, along with a note on how to dispense it

Cabins Cabins divided by gender Sleep 10 – 14 students Have indoor bathroom and shower facilities Have electricity and heating

Emergencies Student information (parent contact information, medical information, emergency contact numbers) contained in your child's school records will be taken along on the excursion and used only in the event of an emergency. Please ensure that all student information regarding address, phone numbers and relevant medical or health concerns is up-to-date. Parents will be notified should there be an issue with their child.

Electronics (Cell phones & IPODS) Not allowed to be brought on the trip, will be confiscated if seen If you require your child to have a cell phone, it must be kept with a teacher. There will be No phone calls home allowed unless there is an emergency Cameras can be brought but are the student’s responsibility. The school will not be responsible if it goes missing.
