For example, a 6mm sheet of Lexan Thermoclear® gives up to 40% greater efficiency over traditional glazing and gives an insulation value of 1.54. High Light Transmission Thermoclear® sheet has approximately 98% of light transmission of normal glass and almost twice the light of opaque domes. Light Weight Lexan Thermoclear® sheet is around 70 times lighter than double walled glass.
