The Gospel We Preach “Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.” (Acts 8:4)
2
Galatians 1:11-12 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Christ is unique, unparalleled and unrivaled

The Gospel We Preach Is…
Persuasive Acts 2:40; 26:28; 2 Cor. 5:11
4
Acts 2:40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation.“ We are to be active in sharing it with others. If we do, souls will be saved!
5
Acts 26:28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.” The Gospel is credible and reliable. It is only the prejudice of man which would preclude its effective working in the heart.
6
2 Corinthians 5:11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:3-4 As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The Gospel We Preach Is…
Persuasive Acts 2:40; 26:28; 2 Cor. 5:11 Pervasive 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:3-4 Demonstrative (evident in life) James 1:21-25; 2:14-26
11
James 1:21-25 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
12
James 2:14-26 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (vs. 17) But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? (vs. 20) You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. (vs. 24) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (vs. 26)

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
15
Colossians 1:5-6 Not mere suggestions, but TRUTH
Because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth. Not mere suggestions, but TRUTH

2 Timothy 4:2 Not Silent, but Militant!
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. Not Silent, but Militant!

19
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
20
Ephesians 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

Conclusion: Live Worthy of the Gospel!
Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. Philippians 1:27-28
