You can see HID light output remains constant over temperature while fluorescent is affected by changes in temperature. This is a crucial factor considering a typical warehouse can vary in temperature from 40˚F to 120˚F. For the T5 and T8 bulbs, they will lose a significant amount of light in these extreme conditions.
