2 Project motivation Design for compliance – National BES tools Disregarding energy behaviour The ground floor and the first floor is stone (rubble) wall, while the second floor is a brick wall. The ground floor and the first floor include some coated surfaces surrounding the openings. The openings frames are synthetic double glazing with spacing 12mm, while the ratio of frame/glazing is 20%/80%. Prediction inaccuracies, especially during summer for cooling purposes.
