Building STAR Impacts ACEEE conducted an analysis of jobs and energy savings benefits of Building STAR By the end of 2011: – 187,000 jobs created – $3.3 billion in annual energy bill savings. – Avoided emissions equivalent to nearly 4 million cars. The energy savings from Building STAR retrofits will save $33 billion over 10 years - $5 for every $1 of rebates.
