(On going) 8: Adoption of sustainability practices for the retrofit of facilities and their use by occupants. (On going) 9: Training program for McGill employees to promote sustainable practices. 12. WHAT CAN YOU DO Last person to leave the room turns the lights off. Ensure door is fully closed entering/leaving a building. Walk up or down the stairs when possible. Lower the temperature a few degrees in the shower and reduce shower time. Avoid opening windows as a temperature control mechanism. Search for the energy star label for electric devices. Get involved, share and explore ideas and become an ambassador of sustainability/energy saving. Examples of some students projects: Campus energy mapping Solid biomass cogeneration
