1. Build Samurai Armor Modern World History

2. Objective  Understand the life of the Samurai by learning about and creating a replica of Samurai armor.

3. Materials  Cardboard boxes  Yarn  Scissors  Paint or color markers

5. Group work with Individual grades  Each member will choose a piece of the Armor to construct:  Helmet  Sword  Body Armor  Leg Armor  Arm covering  Apron And research what the actual process of making it was. You will do this on the first day and start making the armor after.

6. Construction  You will be responsible for construction of your piece and you will have two periods to do it.  You will be graded on the accuracy of your item.  You will also be graded on a 5 paragraph expository paper on your item.

7. Due Date  These will be due on Monday morning. Armor pieces will not be allowed to leave the classroom and must be done by Thursday.  If you need to, you can stay after on Thursday to finish your armor piece.  Good luck!
