Poaching Poaching is a wet method of cooking. Food items are usually poached in sauce pans or fish kettles. Poaching is a fast method of cooking. It is a healthy method of cooking.

Steaming Steaming is a wet method of cooking. Prepared food is cooked by rising steam from boiling water. No fat is added when steaming.

Grilling Our method; We took the tray out of the grill and put the bread on it, put the tray in the grill let the bread toast on one side, took out the tray flipped the bread over put it back in the grill to cook on the other side for 2 mins. You might use a toaster!

Shallow Frying Shallow frying is a dry method of cooking. Shallow frying is a fast method of cooking. Shallow frying can only be used by certain foods. The following equipment can be used ; Frying pan Electric frying pan Wok

Boiling Boiling is a wet method of cooking. Boiling is an method that is quick and fast. You know when bubbles are there the water is boiling. The main liquid used is water.

Stewing Stewing is a wet method of cooking. The food that is used is cut into little chunks. Stewing is a long and slow method cooking. Stewed foods may include beef, pork, apples, pears.

Baking Baking is a dry method of coking. Foods are cooked mainly by pre- heating the oven. Baking trays and heat proof dishes are used to hold the food.
