2. Are you okay? When are you coming home?

3. Multiple thoughts, multiple questions that I need to get to you like a vomit. Like a word vomit.

4. Do you have pride in what you do? Shooting at innocent people for a fight, that isn’t even your fight?

5. Mom misses you like crazy. She cant stop crying about you. Every time she cries, she cries a waterfall. She bounces up when she sees an unknown caller.

6. Do you know about dad? He’s loosing his hair day by day as we loose a piece of you everyday. Sometimes he’s in so much pain it’s like it travels through the air. It’s like I can feel it.

7. I know it’s only days until you come home, but these days feel like years.

8. I can still feel the last kiss you gave me as you boarded the plane to that terrifying place.

9. Is all of this worth it? To be what society calls a hero.

10. You’re my hero. In uniform, or out.
