2 4-H Shooting Sports Scoring Team Training Scoring Tips Scorers may be the most important team members! Reality Check – know how many shots “should” be on each bull and total possible points per target Be consistent! Same people score all.22 pistol targets, etc. Two scorers and two adders – double check each other Group each shooters’ targets together – make sure you have all targets! Marked plugged shots with a “P” Cross-fires handled on range Initial target once complete Take your time!

3 4-H Shooting Sports Scoring Team Training Scoring Overview Target broken into concentric bands Highest band touched is scored Lines between bands are part of the higher scoring area Target is scored from center out Center is scored as 10 Each ring out is one point less Shots outside of scoring area (off target) are scored as 0
