2. Smart Choice Outreach Center Inc. Smart Choice Outreach Center Inc. is a nonprofit mentoring and tutoring youth organization that was established in 2005. Our service are made available to all Harnett County Youth between the ages of 4-18 and their families. We are a Prevention Organization. Our Programs are committed to the youth that we serve. We are pleased to announce that we have a 95% graduation rate in which all our students are currently in college.

3. Smart Choice Outreach Inc. Statement of the Problem Smart Choice focus is prevention structured to address factors that attribute to youth undisciplined behaviors, lack of positive self-image, absence of positive role models. Youth strengths, needs/issues will be defined during prescreening contacts with parents/guardians and youth. Group sessions will help in identifying appropriate positive behaviors and build on youth strengths. Youths needing intensive counseling will be referred to a Mental Health Provider.
