Partnerships & Collaborations Understand systems and strengths of partnerships at all levels Engage local gov’t leaders about role and opportunities in proactive way Work with state agencies i.e. Dept. of Commerce in recruitment of industrial opportunities Work with local EDCs on development plans and growth opportunitis Work with state/Federal workforce and WorkSource for training and employment programs.

Partnerships & Collaborations Create stand-alone ED Corporation to manage economic development and build consistency in goals and direction. Understand and embrace the changing world and new funding paradigm and need for collaborations. Stop being “the definition of insanity”: doing the same thing and expecting different results.
