What are Adjectives? These words can tell how something looks, sounds, feels, smells, or tastes. Adjectives are describing words that tell more about a noun. They can also tell age, number, or emotions.

Find the adjective in each sentence. 1. The rabbit has white fur. 2. She is listening to soft music. 3. We picked sour apples.

Find the adjective in each sentence. 4. Ted ate two pieces of pizza. 5. The teenage girls went to the mall. 6. Molly took a soothing bath.

Find the adjective in each sentence. 7. Mrs. Bermudez has short hair. 8. I missed a few questions on the test. 9. The happy dog wagged his tail.

Use a when the next word begins with a consonant. Example-I have a blue bike. Use an when the next word begins with a vowel. Example-He has an orange bike.

Choose a or an to correctly complete each sentence. 1. The cat chased (a, an) mouse. 2. Gina made (a, an) apple pie. 3. He did (a, an) incredible trick.

Add er to the end of an adjective when comparing two things. Example-An elephant is taller than a zebra. Add est to the end of an adjective when comparing three or more things. Example-A giraffe is the tallest of all.

Choose the correct form of the adjective. 1.Jets are (faster, fastest) than airplanes. 2. Kate is the (taller, tallest) girl in our class. 3. Drew is the (younger, youngest) in our family.
