Athlete’s Foot Athlete’s Foot- (Tinea pedis)-fungus infection
Usually in the skin of the toes and the soles of feet. Itching, stinging and burning between your toes and burning on the soles of your feet Itchy blisters,Cracking and peeling skin.

Birthmark Stork Bite, Angels Kiss
Congenital blemish or spot on the skin Visible at birth or soon after. Port-Wine…is a type of vascular birth mark.

Boil (Carbuncle/Furuncle)
Boil- bacterial infection (furuncle) of the skin. Produced when bacteria enters hair a follicle

Carbuncle- bacterial infection Similar to a boil Spreads into the subcutaneous tissue

Cyst Cyst- is a closed pocket or pouch of tissue. It can be filled with air, fluid, pus, or other material.

Eczema Eczema Non-contagious skin rash often accompanied by itching, blistering, and scaling.

Erythema Erythema- reddening of the skin due to dilation of dermal blood vessels in response to injury or inflammation.

Herpes Herpes- infectious disease of the skin usually caused by the herpes simplex virus Characterized by recurring formations of small clusters of vesicles.

Keloid Keloid-Elevated, enlarging fibrous scar usually initiated by an injury Abnormal scar that grows beyond the boundary of the original site of a skin injury. It is a raised and ill defined growth of skin in the area of damaged skin.

Pediculosis Pediculosis- disease produced by an infestation of lice

Pruritus Pruritus is an itch or a sensation that makes a person want to scratch. Pruritus can cause discomfort and be frustrating. If it is severe, it can lead to sleeplessness, anxiety, and depression. The exact cause of an itch is unknown. It is a complex process involving nerves that respond to certain chemicals like histamine that are released in the skin, and the processing of nerve signals in the brain. Pruritus can be a part of skin diseases, internal disorders, or due to faulty processing of the itch sensation within the nervous system.

Scabies Scabies- disease resulting from an infestation of mites

Seborrhea Seborrhea- Hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands
A common skin problem. It causes a red, itchy rash and white scales. When it affects the scalp, it is called "dandruff." It can be on parts of the face as well, including the folds around the nose and behind the ears, the forehead, and the eyebrows and eyelids.

Urticaria Urticaria- allergic reaction of the skin that produces reddish, elevated patches. (hives)

Wart Wart- flesh-colored, raised areas caused by a viral infection.

Mole Mole- fleshy skin tumor (nervus) that is usually pigmented; colors range from brown to black
