4 Federal Acquisition Service U.S. General Services Administration FSSI Office Supply BPAs Overview  Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative (FSSI) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for office supplies were awarded to 13 small and 2 large businesses and are currently available for use  Savings to most agencies are expected to range from 5% to 20% with discounts from schedule averaging 19%  Under the BPAs, discounts increase as the collective purchases grow across the federal government, truly leveraging the government's buying power  Additional benefits include:  Point-of-Sale discount ensures anyone paying with a Government SmartPay card receives the BPA pricing regardless of purchase channel  Simplifying data collection and enhancing transparency by enabling agencies to better manage expenditures and measure cost savings  A variety of small businesses for achievement of socioeconomic goals  Full compliance with applicable regulations to include the AbilityOne program, sustainable purchasing requirements and the Trade Agreement Act  Support for Green Initiatives including toner recycling program and availability of environmentally preferable products 3
