8. How much time to write? Students have 50 minutes to answer 26 multiple choice item and a persuasive essay. The next day, students have 50 minutes to answer 31 multiple choice items and a persuasive essay. One of the persuasive essays is a field test item.

9.  All 11 th grade students 2007  Seniors completing a retake in 2007 will take the Social Studies MEAP and not the Michigan Social Studies component of the MME and thus, double scoring does not apply  All students in 2008  Seniors completing a retake in 2008 will take the Michigan Social Studies component of the MME
