How much time to write? Students have 50 minutes to answer 26 multiple choice item and a persuasive essay. The next day, students have 50 minutes to answer 31 multiple choice items and a persuasive essay. One of the persuasive essays is a field test item.

All 11 th grade students 2007 Seniors completing a retake in 2007 will take the Social Studies MEAP and not the Michigan Social Studies component of the MME and thus, double scoring does not apply All students in 2008 Seniors completing a retake in 2008 will take the Michigan Social Studies component of the MME
