MEGAPROJECT Stakeholder Analysis Starting Point: How to Conduct this Analysis and Common Understandings SECTION 5 - PROJECT ENVIRONMENT 1.For this specific analysis you should distinguish between the two following slides: a)The first slide is about general stakeholder management information of your megaproject. b)The second slide is related to ONE specific stakeholder of your choice. So, please copy this slide, in order to add information on further stakeholders (one slide per stakeholder). The most relevant stakeholders should be included in your analysis – the more the better, of course. 2.One important concern is the quality of data. Therefore, please colour the text you type into the template a)In red for any information which there is NO direct proof/reference for (documents, Internet-links, interviews, etc.) b)in black for any information where a direct proof/reference (documents, Internet-links, interviews, etc.) is available and mentioned and cited 3.Who is a Stakeholder and which stakeholder do we look at? We will analyse both, internal and external stakeholders and continue to use the definition which is used in this research project from the very beginning (Winch’s Stakeholder Classification (Graham Winch: 'Managing Construction Projects' 2nd edition Wiley 2010)): Internal Stakeholders: Demand Side: client, financiers, client’s customers, client’s employees, client’s tenants, client’s suppliers, etc. Supply Side: architects, engineers, principal contractors, trade contractors, materials, etc. External Stakeholders: (Stakeholders with a direct interest in the project but with no legal contract) Private: local residents, local landowners, environmentalists, conservationists, archaeologists, etc. Public: regulatory agencies, local government, national government, etc.
