In the beginning was a mortal Was the most beautiful woman in the world Was made immortal so that her and Cupid could play together forever Many treated her like a goddess because of her beauty She was so beautiful that no one dared to propose to her Lived in the woods looking for her lover Never got to see her lover and once she found out that he was a god, she went to the temples and made sacrifices to figure out who he was Aphrodite spoke up and revealed that Psyche’s lover was no other than her son, Cupid Turned into the Goddess of Soul
