The cladding was added to east, west and south facing walls – part flint/rubble/ pebble, part brick – the north side was done some years earlier

Blocks of diffutherm are held in place with plastic pins and steel racking

Covered in a plastic mesh and then lime render

Finally a coloured weather proof coat is applied

The house is noticeably warmer with walls formerly cold to touch in winter, now warm.
