4 IMA – ARPA/ECDIS Class ARPA/ECDIS Class consist of: Ergonomic furniture for 6 trainee workplaces Two PCs and Monitors, one to run ECDIS or ARPA and second to run Conning display and Visualization VHF Radio

5 IMA – FMSS Bridge FMSS Bridge consist of: ARPA Console Conning Console and Ship Controls ECDIS Console 8 Visual Channels Chart Table with Navaids VHF Radio GMDSS Workplace (optional)

11 ARPA/RADAR TRAINING Simulated radars include Furuno, Kelvin Hughes, BridgeMaster and BridgeMaster-E Real ARPA/radar units can be incorporated using Transas Radar Imitator Board Full ARPA functionality in the simulation mode with the capability to track up to 60 targets Real ARPA keyboard can be connected Trial Manoeuvre operation mode

Compliance with the requirements of STW 34/9/4 IMO Resolution UAIS transponder system McMurdo/Transas MT-1 is simulated OWN SHIP BRIDGE EQUIPMENT: T-102 VDU imitator (call-up page in the Navaids Task) ECDIS with complete AIS functionality Radar/ARPA with complete AIS functionality NTPRO INSTRUCTOR CAN: Equip any ship, helicopter and VTS station with transponder Use built-in database taken from ITU-R M standard Send safety messages from any traffic ship Auto save AIS messages in Event list Real T-102 VDU unit is available as an option (via a COM-port)

13 Ship Security Alert System Training
Compliance with the requirements of new SOLAS amendments and ISPS-2002 Code Own ship Bridge equipment: Satamatics SAT-101 imitator (call-up page in the Navaids Task) Satamatics SAT-101 supports the following modes: Switching on/off; Stand-by; Alert mode; Test mode; Alert reset; Instructor station: Alert indication is provided within the Instructor station 1. Connection of the HW SSAS alert buttons (via UHI) is available as an option 2. In order to provide more complex training integration between NTPro and Transas “Fleet View” (simulator mode) is required

16 SAR Operations Training (Optional)
To enable simulator search and rescue operations training as per the requirements of MERSAR and IAMSAR international conventions, the simulator has been supplemented with: New search and rescue objects with appropriate visual and radar presentations; New search and rescue functionalities; Giving signals in accordance with the International Code of Signals by using flags, flashing lights (with appropriate visual effects) and sound signals; Giving distress signals and appropriate visual effects; New functionality of the previously available simulator software and hardware modules.

17 FISHING VESSEL OPERATOR TRAINING (Optional)
Several fishery ship models Simulation of pelagic trawling, purse seining and long-lining Simulated fish-finding tools, such as sonar and echo sounder Simulated specialist equipment, including fishing gear, deck machinery and deck machinery controls 3D underwater visualisation, display of fish shoals, layers and pinnacles Familiarisation with manual electronic chart editing, including creation of fishing net charts

18 OSV OPERATOR TRAINING (Optional)
Designed to carry out specialist training including holding position and course, manouvering in various sea and weather conditions, anchor handling Oil spill response and rescue operations training Incorporation of customer-defined exercise areas and customer's ship controls

19 DPS Operator Training (Optional)
Compliance with the requirements of Dynamic Positioning Operator Training, 2nd edition, Nautical Institute, London NTPRO uses real Beier IVCS 2002 (Class 2) DPS system and OSV 1 DP ship model Own ship Bridge equipment: Master DPS CPU with Master PLC and Ethernet BUS Hot reserve CPU with Hot reserve PLC and Ethernet BUS Main and Portable Control DHW panels The following DPS Controls Mode and Functions are available: Joystick modes with manual or automatic heading control; DP modes with manual heading, automatic heading or split axis manual/automatic control; Autopilot mode with FFU steering knob for direct rudder control; Track Control modes for low and high speeds with automatic or manual course holding and following the route (track) described by a set of waypoints; Variable center of rotation; Automatic wind compensation.

20 NAVAL SIMULATION (Optional)
Based on the latest software and modeling technologies Specifically adapted for the needs of naval vessel operations, including training in solving tactical and strategic tasks Ready naval ship models from the Transas Library New models can be designed upon request Can incorporate real equipment and warfare used on customer's vessels

21 Crew complex training (Bridge and ECR)
Joint training with ERS 4000 simulator. Imitation of the propulsion plant is made in ERS simulator, whereas control of the propulsion plant is exercised from the bridge (of NTPRO 4000 simulator); 2 6-DoF ships models used for joint training of Bridge and ECR teams Capabilities for joint training via Internet New Conning display pages Conning “Control” page for 2-stroke diesel Conning “Control” page for 4-stroke diesel A switch for passing control from the Bridge to the ECR (and back) Different alarm indicators Control buttons

22 Special exercise objects for tug and mooring operations
Floating fender The mathematical model of floating Yokohama fender ( Size 3000 X 7500) Can be attached to any vessel by towing line Simulates the elastic forces Laser docking system Measures distance from the wall to the ship in the process of mooring Consists of two laser measuring sensors and a digital tableau The digital tableau displaying the following information: Speed range (red indicator if the speed is higher than 15 cm/s, yellow – from 15 to 8 cm/s, green – less than 8 cm/s); Ship motion direction (R – ship approaching the wall, E – moving from the wall); Ship speed, cm\s (2- position digital indicator). Towing bridle A special type of towing gear, with 2 connections to towing object

All tools for exercise preparation, editing and debriefing Group exercises can be conducted with individual settings made for each workstation On-line interaction with Trainee workstations, dynamic changing of exercise conditions Exercise statistics for performance assessment

24 Transas Evaluation and Assessment System (TEAS) (Optional)
Operating advantages: Automatic assessment in the course of an exercise with a capability to correct any assessment rule at any moment of time (On-line mode) Capability to automatically supply the trainees with prompt information on their errors and to give them advice in a form pre-programmed by the instructor The revised STCW Convention makes certain simulator training recommended and other mandatory. It states the importance of evaluation and assessment. Formation of a Training Report with an automatic correction of the result to take into account the penalty weights, its printing out and saving in Microsoft Excel format (Off-line mode) Unlimited capabilities with regard to the statistic research of training results owing to the accumulating collection of reports in Microsoft Excel format Capability, built into the "NTPRO (Virtual Bridge) + TEAS" set, to use it in the Internet Computer Based Training (CBT).

Ensures prompt automatic construction of 3D surfaces, submerged terrain and aids to navigation for a selected area Models can be created for any area in the world Automatic generation of the optimum presentation logic No 3D modeling skills are required by the operator
