Samuel Adams almost immediately used the Boston Massacre as a tool for stirring up colonial resentment to British rule. His actions, and the actions of many others, convinced many of the colonists British rule had to come to an end.

Samuel Maverick - 17 year old (Died March 6th) 5. Patrick Carr- before his death, told his doctor the soldiers fired in self defense (Died March 16th) E. Two British soldiers convicted of manslaughter 1. branded on thumb 2. Carr’s statements saved them from execution III. Uneasy calm A. Samuel Adams used the incident to stir up anti-British feelings B. Many colonists felt this was a great injustice
