3. My life before the Revolutionary War List events in chronological order before 1775. Started newspaper, The Independent Advertiser in 1748 and wrote about politics. Active member of the Sons of Liberty 1765 elected to the Massachusetts General Assembly. 1772 helped to form Committees of Correspondence With Paul Revere, led “The Boston Tea Part” on December 16, 1773. 1774 elected to First Continental Congress in Philadelphia.
