Answer this question- Whose philosophy made the most sense for America in the 1960’s- MLK or Malcolm X? Whose philosophy and actions had a greater impact or created more change? Once you have answered this question, start to plan the creation of your product. You product must show that you have… Identified the leader who had the greatest impact. Explained the leader’s philosophy- What did they believe in? Judged why you think the leader’s philosophy was successful.

7 Auditory Group- Specific Requirements
Song/Rap/Poem/Spoken Word Must be at least 10 lines in length Example (“I Have a Dream” - Common Ft. Will.i.am): “Hate has no color or age, flip the page, Now my rage became freedom, Writin' dreams in the dark, they far but I can see 'em, I believe in Heaven more than Hell, Blessings more than jail, In the ghetto let love prevail, With a story to tell, my eyes see the glory and well, The world waitin’ for me to yell ‘I Have a Dream’.”

Interview Must include 5 Questions (asked by you) and 5 Answers (provided by the Civil Rights leader The questions and answers must be written in complete sentences. Each answer should be 1-3 sentences in length. Example (Interview with Martin Luther King, Jr.): Q: Why do you promote love? A: I promote love because it extinguishes hatred. Responding to hatred with hatred only multiples hatred. We must treat our neighbors with the same respect we expect from them.

Flyer Must include five facts about your leader, his philosophy and his accomplishments Must include five pictures Skit Your script must include 10 lines Your skit can be a made-up scenario based on realistic events See me if you need a skit prompt- I have a list you can choose from

10 Visual Group- Coat of Arms Art Gallery Must include 5 symbols
Underneath the picture, you must write a 3-5 sentence statement explaining the symbols you chose and why you chose them Art Gallery Must include 5 pictures Underneath each picture, you must write a 1-2 sentence statement explaining the importance of the picture
