CONCLUSION The next Carlos Slim or Bill Gate, could very well be in Africa providing reliable broadband services because of: A stronger than ever demand A maturing and particularly adapted wireless technology VSAT for rural area and broadcasting applications (DTH, private networks) Ka band (O3B, YahSAT) Frequency reuse (EPIC) 4G for urban area and bandwith intensive applications Reduced Investment and operational costs to enter the telecommunications market with a Next Generation full IP network, or a full IP based applications
