INTRODUCTION Our Product Focus for the next two weeks is IBM. The opportunity afforded to us in becoming an Authorized IBM Training Partner is enormous. With hundreds of classes spanning the full IBM product line, and only a small handful of training partners to deliver them, New Horizons has the potential to become the global leader in IBM Training. Our IBM catalog focuses on three of IBM’s largest and most successful products: WebSphere, Tivoli, and Cognos. These three products hold significant market share in their respective areas: WebSphere in the middleware and Application Server arena, Tivoli for network management, maintenance, and automation and Cognos in the area of Business Intelligence and data analysis.

Social Media The goal of our social interaction is to strengthen our brand in the minds of our customers Our social media posts are meant to be informative for our customers and not typically sales driven, though a small percentage will direct back to our websites to display standard course offerings Typical social posts will link to blog articles, informational white papers, or free- to-attend events such as our weekly webinar series Look for a new post each day for the next two weeks to push our IBM focus. Medium to large corporations in all business sectors selling server and mainframe hardware and related hardware products, system and productivity software, and IT services. Organizations and individuals looking to simplify, track, and manage their operations and improve efficiency. Based on the level and specialization of courses, students will learn the analytical and applications needed through Cognos, Tivoli, WebSphere and other areas to help everyone in their organizations make decisions yielding better business outcomes through resource allocation, security, storage and system management solutions. Apart from providing daily social updates, numerous blog articles to link to, and an external email to send to clients, we have also provided you with a variety of supporting documents to use throughout the two week product focus and beyond. The supporting documents for our IBM Product Focus include such things as a upcoming class date sheet, two white papers from IBM, three separate sales guides – one each for WebSphere, Tivoli, and Cognos, two infographics highlighting the strengths of business analytics, three separate product sheets, and one document that provides an IBM solutions overview. Internal Training To coincide with each product focus the Marketing Team also schedules internal training and a public webinar. It is our intention to provide an internal training session the Friday prior to the kick off of each bi-weekly product focus. We will attempt to reschedule the internal training session if it is set to occur during the last week of the month so as not to interrupt sales. Due to last Friday being the last sales day of the month we have instead included the corporate IBM training session from the initial IBM Product Launch.
