Two ways to do good to other…. Altruism Behavior that benefits another person – sometimes at some costs. it is non-beneficial or disadvantageous to the individual who performs such a behavior for the benefit of others Prosocial behavior Behavior that benefits others or has positive social consequences. To build positive relationships in society. The opposites are aggressive or “anti-social” behavior. Distinguish between altruism and prosocial behavior
