Introduction Federal department for inspection affairs is established in January 2007. 10 diferent ispections in new inspectorate: 1.Market and tourism inspection 2.Sanitary inspection (health & pharmaceutical) inspection 3.Labour inspection 4.Urbanism & environment inspection 5.Traffic inspection 6.Agriculture inspection 7.Forestry inspection 8.Water inspection 9.Veterinary inspection 10.Technical inspection

Benchmarking Indicators Indicators that are used in the country for benchmarking are measured in number of : –different departments of inspections with needed equipment, –staff/inspectors specialized in specific sector, –field work – inspections on site, –issued permits (and penalties), –on-site reports, annual or monthly reports…

Benchmarking Benchmarking within the institution Information exchange between inspections: –Each 3, 6 and 12 months inceptions are obligated to submit reports to Head of Inspectorate Coordination –Inspectorates are on entity level –Coordination between 2 entity inspectorates (meetings, contacts…) –Coordination with international bodies for different matter (e.g. INCB Vienna etc.) Example: –Annual reports (at state level) are submitting by focal points for: climate changes, water, air, land…
