ALUMNI RELATIONS SECTION The establishment is to promote IIUM’s mission and vision among the Muslims of the world through the alumni As the liaison between the University and the alumni body IIUM alumni as ambassadors – their active participation in human development must be continuously mobilised and assisted.

12. MANAGEMENT OF IIUM ALUMNI

13. The Alumni Relations Section manages the Alumni in various ways. Some of them are: REACH MAGAZINE & ONLINE BULLETIN  REACH magazine is published once a year.  REACH provides a space for the alumni to share their stories, views, and experiences with other friends around the world.  REACH is a platform to discuss the current issues of the Muslims and to find the solutions and ways towards improvements.

14. COMMUNICATION  The ARS contacts the IIUM Alumni through: 1. Face book. 2. Alumni Website. 3. Group E-mail 4. Phone calls whenever needed.

IIUM ALUMNI CHAPTERS  An alumni chapter is a group of former students of the International Islamic University Malaysia, who share common interests.  The establishment of IIUM alumni chapters is an excellent way to strengthen links among alumni members  The IIUM alumni chapters allows for ‘grass root’ input into the University’s consultative process and a network for the distribution of information on the University’s development and alumni activities. 17. IIUM Alumni have their own teams in many of the sports. The ARS organizes tournaments which involve both Alumni & students. Sports that are commonly played by the Alumni are:  Hockey  Futsal SPORTS

18.  It is a great time to catch up with friends and enjoy being together with other fellow alumni. The reunion could be a platform for the alumni to exchange stories and experiences with other colleagues besides being the starting point for the establishment of new business networking which could be expanded based on group interests.
