6 8.1 Discussing arrangements A Discussion  1. Students look at the photographs and discuss what the situations are and match the verbs to the nouns. Give vocabulary for the various situations: catching a plane, visiting a factory, having dinner/a meeting. Content

8 B Listening  1. Students look at the requirements and the diary and think what Susan Morris might do.  2. Explain Diary is agenda, calendar or datebook in American English. Content

11 C Language focus  1. We have learnt the future as will + infinitive. While in English a present tense is often used to talk about the future, in particular when an arrangement has already been made. Content
