6 Proposed Amendment to Rule 61G15-23.003, FAC Tightens up digital signature requirements to ensure identity vetting. For electronic signatures, allows the signed and sealed SHA- 1 report to be scanned and sent electronically as long as the original is retained by the engineer for 3 years.

7 Timeline for Amendment to Rule 61G15-23.003, FAC July 17, 2013: Approved by FBPE Rules Committee August 7, 2013: Approved by FBPE September 9, 2013: Published in Florida Administrative Register September 30, 2013: Deadline for public comment and to request hearing (21 days from publishing).

8 Timeline for Amendment to Rule 61G15-23.003, FAC (continued) October 7, 2013: Earliest to file with the Department of State. Must be reviewed by the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee. October 27, 2013: Earliest effective date (20 days after filing). December 7, 2013: Deadline to file.
