The Buffalo Soldiers National Museum is committed to preserving the rich and incredible history of the African American Soldier in the United States. The museum has recognized a need in our community and in our world to honor those who have sacrifice there time, hard work and there lives in some cases to create a better life for others. The Buffalo Soldiers National Museum accomplishes these two tasks by creating the First Annual Buffalo Soldiers Museum Hall Of Fame Awards. This awards program was produced to create and instill a sense of pride and honor to those who seek to acquire the secretes of what makes this country so great. “It Is It’s People”.

Proud partners of Houston PBS and Channel 8 Channel 8 will air the premiere broadcast event in the month of June 2009 in recognition of the Juneteenth Holiday and Celebration.
