8 th Grade Agenda 3/18 Learning Target: Describe my team’s robot and give a demonstration of its abilities. ½ class period to get robot running to the best of your abilities Demos of robots Final reflection/photos etc.

Demonstrations What was your robot meant to do when you began the project? How did this objective relate to real life? What modifications did you have to make in order to make the robot work/finish on time? What does your robot do at this point in time? In what way(s) could you have made your robot better?

7 th Grade Agenda 3/18 Learning Target: Take part in Sumo Battle Bot competition. 1/2 class period to get robots ready to compete Sumo Battle Bots Double Elimination Bracket Additional Battles/Photos etc.

Final Robotics Reflection Two paragraphs minimum in complete sentences Address the following things (and more) in your paragraphs… What could you have done to make your robot better if you had more time? Of the 3 robotics challenges, which was most difficult? Why? What was the most difficult job you were assigned? Why was is the most difficult? What did you like most about the robotics unit? Explain. 7 th Graders: if you take STEM again next year, would you want to do an advanced robotics unit? What could Mrs. Davis change to make the robotics unit better in the future?

Safety Testing DUE 3/27 All Safety Testing should be done by the end of Wednesday, March 27 th. If all tests are not complete by that date, you will need to do the remaining tests as homework (talk to me about this!).
