1. The Master’s Men  A Time Of Special Communion  Jesus wanted to be sure that He knew the mind of His Father.  What a lesson for us!  God has promised to hear our prayers  God uses our prayers to accomplish His will  God knows what you are going to ask  The more time you spend with Him, the more you begin to think like Him

2.  A Time Of Sovereign Choice  Apostle - One sent with orders; representing the king; one who speaks with the king’s authority; one who must not be ignored.  Jesus handpicked these men and sent them out with His message.  He called unto Him whom He would

3. v. 14-15 a pattern and a priority  Discipleship - “that they should be with Him”  If we would be like Him, then we must spend time with Him.  Declaration - He sent them to preach  to sound forth the message of the King  Demonstration - sign gifts  When the disciples came preaching and demonstrating the same power as Jesus, the people knew that their message was real

4. The Men  In spite of their weaknesses, the Lord used these men to turn the world upside down for His glory.  He can and will use us too!! If we will let Him have His way in us, He will be glorified.  He saved us out of our sins and created us as a special race to do His will on the earth!

5. Beneath The Cross Beneath the cross of Jesus, I find a place to stand; And wonder at such mercy That calls me as I am.

7. Beneath the cross of Jesus His family is my own. Once strangers chasing selfish dreams, Now one through grace alone.

10. How great the joy before us— To be His perfect bride. Beneath the cross of Jesus, We will gladly live our lives.
